Three Archetype: Inversion

Archetype THREE is part of the Intimate triad.
The Archetypes in this triad form the foundation for Emotional Belonging.
Each is expressed within the Divine, Nature, & Human Octaves.

When out of touch with its own tender heart, the Three Archetype feels disconnected from Intimate Belonging. Its gifts then invert and it mistakes outward excellence for intrinsic value. Three’s natural drive to contribute its best turns into a sense of worthlessness when it is not superlative.

When you lose connection with your authentic calling, you may try to feel your worth by pleasing and impressing others. This self deception keeps you estranged from your purpose. Pretense creates a subtle sorrow that no achievement can console. By courageously risking the loss of external accolades, you may come to feel the deeply satisfying, inner reward of being true to yourself. This card invites you to get in touch with your heart.

• Can you pause to appreciate how hard you work to cover your vulnerability?

• When you breathe into your heart, can you express the tenderness that’s there?
